IRS economic stimulus check update April 26 2020. New $2,000 stimulus checks. SSI and VA payments soon! CARES Act $1,200 checks mailed.

Today we’re talking about new deadlines for SSI and veterans. Social security’s already beginning to receive payments, mailing checklists, the new $2,000 stimulus and so much more.

Just the other day, the IRS. Issued a special report for supplemental security income, SSI and department of veteran affairs beneficiaries to act by May 5th you guys have a brand new deadline. This is if you guys didn’t file a tax return for 2018 or 2019 and you have dependence that you would like to register.

This deadline sounds very similar to the one that happened just a week ago or so for social security. They had a similar thing. They had like 48 hours to act. If you didn’t file taxes, you’ve got to give us your dependent information. What does this mean for you guys? Well, it means your payments are coming.

So if the deadline is May 5th. Earliest we can see is May 6th but you might even be receiving payments anytime between may six and May 13th with some of you even trickling into the weekend afterwards. It says there are $1,200 payments will be issued soon, and in order to get the $500 per eligible child amount to these payments, the IRS needs dependent information before the payments are issued.

If for some reason you can’t get your dependent information submitted in this timeframe, instead, you’ll be getting your additional 500 per eligible child associated with your return filing your taxes in 2020 following the extensive work by the IRS and partner government agencies, the $1,200 automatic payments will be starting soon.

For those receiving social security, retirement survivor or disability benefits, railroad retirement benefits, and supplemental security income. And VA compensation and pension, even if you didn’t file a tax return in the last two years. So for you guys listening, there’s no action required for any of you, you’ll automatically receive your $1,200 payments.

Now I know some of you, especially in the comments section, it told me that you’ve already received it, which is great news to hear for the rest of you out there. I mean, you’ll be getting it in these next coming weeks. It could be tomorrow. It could be seven days from now. Some of you are getting it sooner.

However, we expect mass deposits to happen on Wednesday. Question of the day is, have you received your stimulus check money yet? I’m very, very curious to hear this as more people are receiving it in a bunch of different ways. Yet, for some reason, my common section is still flooded with people every single day that firmly believe that this $1,200 to me check is a scam.

So if you’ve received money in any way, let us know if you got it when you got it. And what did you do to help speed up the process? Did you use the IRS portal? Did you just happen to file your taxes his the last couple of years? Any information can help. So come with that down below. For those VA and SSI recipients who do have that dependent that they need to register in this timeframe, of course, head over to the IRS non filers tool.

If you aren’t aware social security, retirement and survivors or disability insurance benefits and railroad retirement benefits. Automatic payments of $1,200 are scheduled to begin arriving next week. No action is needed on your part, which is great. It just is now sitting in waiting.

This even includes people who don’t normally file tax returns. You guys are all good to go. There’s finally a light at the end of the tunnel for you guys. Money’s coming this week. This right here is going to answer a question I get almost every single day. If you guys, this is in regards to direct express, so direct express account holders.

You may use the non filers tool, but you cannot, they have this in bold, receive your and your child’s payments on your direct express account. You may only select a bank account for direct deposit or leave bank information blank and receive the money. By mail. Now, don’t get that confused. You just simply can’t type in your direct express card when using the non filers tool.

Last week, finally passing the most recent stimulus bill all devoted to help out research hospitals, PPP programs, small businesses in the EIDL. They can now begin to focus on us individuals. And this leads me into my next point. There are currently a bunch of stickiness bills proposed, and I’m going to giving you a quick rundown of all of our current options.

The automatic boost to communities act, new stimulus bill. The ABC act, as it’s called, would provide a $2,000 one time payment to every person in America. Trying to include as many people as possible, including dependents, and would follow that up with an additional $1,000 per month for up to a year after the covid-19 emergency ends.
